  • Last Friday the City of Wichita unveiled a new logo for our beloved Century II. Wichita's design community collectively groaned. Later that same day, we launched Century II.0 - a tiny web app that, along with an open letter to area creatives, allows people to upload a replacement logo.   • We absolutely love Heroku. The one hurdle everyone must face is their read-only file system. Most of the time, this means uploading files to Amazon S3, which is preferred, but the other issue we've run into is packaging up a multitude of Javascript Libraries, and CSS files. Packaging and combining those asset files into is a compressed version imperative to increasing performance and server response time. Read
